Aaron Gilbert's Bio

My name is Aaron Gilbert, currently working for Aragen Bioscience , a CRO in the south Bay Area, in the protein purification department.

I have over a year and a half experience in Protein Purification, AKTA FPLC, SDS-PAGE, gel electrophoresis, Western Blots, Chemiluminescence, Precise Buffer preps, Bradfords, UV vis, TFF, UF/DF, LAL, Low Endotoxin Purification, and excellent record keeping. I also have some experience in QC/QA, MBRs, “pre-GMP”, SOPs, Elisas, Chromogenic Assays. I have four years of academic research experience, and three years experience in management in a volunteer environment. Resulting from the research at San Jose State University I have a publication in the Biophysical Journal and several other presentations to the American Chemical Society and California State University organizations.

I have the ability to design, execute and summarize experiments. I have an attention to detail, and am comfortable in front of the computer. I have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. I am also flexible to different styles of management and working environments. I have a Bachelors of Science focused in Biochemistry from San Jose State University with a GPA of 3.5 while playing football full time.
